There are a couple of things that you should know:
1. If you were not at the meeting and would like to vote for a Founder’s Fund candidate, please read the summaries included and get your vote to me by March 15th.
2. The date for Men’s Night has been changed to April 13th at Ann Kelly’s house. A paperless post will be forthcoming!
3. The anticipated date for our Garden Tour this spring has been moved from May TBD to June 6th. If you can get away for the day, this is a very special treat!! A clipboard will be passed at our April meeting.
Also, please take note of the special donation made in Susie Walker’s honor at the Arboretum. She is most deserving!!
Our club entry “Passion for Plants” again won a blue ribbon! We scored a perfect 100 points! Congrats to Jen and Mindy for having the vision, organization, energy and spirit to get this all done. It is a masterpiece. I can’t tell you how many people commented that they were blown away by the quality and detail our exhibit.
We have also had great success in the Hort-a-Court. Mary Jane, Debby Evans, Linda Funke, Maryalice, and Kim Drake have pulled in tons of ribbons and done us all so proud. Way to go WGC!
Lauren Taylor and Jen Nagle got a second in their Novice pedestal class. Their entry was gorgeous and so well done.
Emilie, Lisa Howe and Jennifer Ponce entered the Mermaid necklace class for “experts” and placed second, third and HM. Well done ladies.
And team Wissahickon was everywhere in evidence. Thanks to everyone who participated!
